Interests

This page is a look into the things that motivate me both professionally and personally. A lot of my interests connect back to curiosity, growth, and finding ways to challenge myself.

AI & Legal Tech

My academic path has been a little unconventional. I studied Political Science at Rutgers University before deciding to pivot into computer science and AI/ML engineering at Northeastern University, where I am currently a graduate student and research assistant. What drew me toward technology was the realization that AI has the potential to reshape industries that have traditionally been difficult to navigate, especially the legal field.

I am particularly interested in building tools that make legal information more accessible and efficient to work with. Areas like legal research assistants, document review automation, and decision-support systems stand out to me because they can reduce repetitive work while also helping people access information that would otherwise be expensive or difficult to obtain. Long term, I want to contribute to systems that improve access-to-justice while still keeping human judgment at the center of the process. That combination of technology, policy, and real-world impact is what keeps me excited about this field.

Fitness & Lifting

Weight lifting has become one of the most consistent parts of my routine. I enjoy the structure of training and the process of gradually improving over time, whether that means getting stronger, improving endurance, or just staying disciplined during busy semesters. I usually focus on compound movements and balanced training rather than chasing numbers, and I like the mental reset that comes with spending time in the gym after long days of classes or research work.

Snowboarding

Snowboarding is probably the hobby that makes me feel the most present in the moment. I like the combination of speed, balance, and creativity that comes with riding, especially when learning new terrain or improving technique over time. It is also one of the few activities where I can completely disconnect from school and work for a while and just focus on the experience itself.

Basketball

Basketball has always been one of my favorite sports to follow and play. I enjoy how fast-paced and strategic the game can be, especially when a team has strong chemistry and ball movement. I am also a longtime Knicks fan, so watching their historic playoff run in 2026 was incredible after years of rebuilding and frustration. It felt rewarding seeing the team finally reach that level again and watching the energy around New York basketball come back in a major way.

Travel

One of the biggest reasons I enjoy traveling is because it gives me a chance to learn through experience. I like exploring different cultures, trying local food, and learning about the history behind places rather than only seeing tourist attractions. Traveling has helped me appreciate how differently people live and think across the world, and I think that perspective is valuable both personally and professionally.

I also enjoy researching destinations before visiting because I like understanding the historical and cultural context of where I am going. A lot of the places I still want to visit are connected to that interest, which is why I included a dedicated Bucket List section on this site to explore some of those goals and future trips in more detail.

Closing Thoughts

Whether it is working on AI applications for the legal field, training in the gym, traveling, or following sports, most of my interests come back to learning and improvement. I enjoy pushing myself into unfamiliar spaces, and I think that mindset has shaped both the personal and professional direction I want my life to take.
